Although the forecast called for rain, the fourth round of the CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals started under sunny skies at Shadow Valley Raceway in Morden, Manitoba. Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki rider Josh Demuth raced to his third straight podium with his third place finish. Troy Adams rode through some pain from a previous crash to finish twelfth overall on the day.
Demuth grabbed the holeshot in the first MX1 moto followed by Adams and the rest of the Canadian motocross riders. Demuth continued to lead the moto until just before the midway point when Dusty Klatt made a pass stick. Henry Wiles had another one of his strong performances in the AMA Pro K&N Filters Grand National Championship presented by Motorcyclesuperstore.com event at Gas City/I-69 Speedway. Wiles led all 25 laps of the main event and scored his second victory of the season and second singles race in a row on his Monster Energy Kawasaki/ Shift Racing/ Dons Kawasaki KXF 450. Jared Mees was runner-up on his Rockysonline/ Rogers Lake Racing Honda, 6-10ths of a second behind Wiles. Joe Kopp scored third on his Latus Harley-Davidson/ Jones Powersports Honda.

JGRMX riders Josh Grant and Justin Brayton will be debuting Shift’s 2011 Baja Faction gear this weekend at Round 5 of the AMA Motocross Championship in Lakewood, CO. Packed with top of the line performance features but always ready for a Fiesta, Shift’s new Baja Faction gear was built to handle anything Grant, Brayton, or Thunder Valley can throw at it. Josh Grant comes into this round with a ton of momentum and will have his sights set on claiming his first win of the season. Brayton will also be looking for some strong results after putting in a solid performance last weekend in his first race since a pre-season injury.

The unique location at Wild Rose MX Park in the heart of Calgary presented riders and fans with a spectacular view of the city skyscrapers. Monster Energy Cernic's Kawasaki rider Josh Demuth rode to a third place overall in the CMRC Monster Energy Canadian Motocross Nationals and Troy Adams finished sixteenth after a hard fall in the first moto.
In the first MX1 Moto, Adams came around the first turn in fifth while Demuth was stuck around tenth position. Once again, Demuth impressed everyone in attendance with his charge through the pack eventually finding himself in fourth with Adams following right behind in fifth. Budd’s Creek MX Park in Mechanicsville, Md. was host to round four of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Budd’s Creek is rich in racing history. The facility has held a round of the AMA Motocross Championship for 17 years, as well as hosting both a round of the world championship Grand Prix Series and a Motocross of Nations event. A lesser known element of Budd’s Creek history is that J.D. Gibbs raced several amateur events there in the early nineties with Coy and Joe Gibbs, who was the head coach of the Washington Redskins at the time, supporting his efforts.
